A Biker War comic book told in a Grind-house style!
Your life is crap. What would you do if someone offered you a ticket out? Only thing, it might be a little... risky.
Mayfield Eight is the name of a county highway that cuts straight through the dry mesas of New Mexico. It was there in 1957 that a young man rode his Harley to the hospital to see his newborn son, only to lose his life to an oncoming freight train...
...fast forward to 1974 and follow along the life of that son, Calvin Ryder. His boring duties as cook to the local diner gets interrupted by a friend who wants him to do a favor for him. He'll treat Calvin to a Mexican titty bar to celebrate his 17th birthday as long as he 'stands guard' at a stop along the way while his friend conducts a back-room drug deal.
Mayfield Eight is a six-part story involving vicious Biker Gangs, deadly Drug Dealers, a Con Artist friend and a sadistic State Trooper.
